how to use lexis tracker
Once we have opened the file on our system, you will get an email notification to invite you to track the progress of your matter electronically, upload your documents securely, view the latest status and updates and chat with us.
To log in, click the link at the very bottom of the email which will take you to the LEXIS TRACKER website.
Click on Lexis Tracker link, it will open on the landing page.
You will then be asked to choose your own password (or enter your existing one) and confirm it, you then need to enter the One Time Pin which will be sent to the cell phone number that you have given us.
Type in your email address and enter the password you would like to use. If you have already registered before, use the existing password.
Use the same password for each of your bonds & transfers, regardless of the conveyancing firm.
Log in.
It will take you to the page where your transaction is loaded – as per example below. Should you get “error”, click on forgot password and request password reset.
Once done, you will need to log into the website using your username as shown in the welcome email and enter the password you chose.
You will receive more than 1 welcome email if you have more than one transaction.
Please register each matter by clicking the Lexis Tracker link and use the same password for each matter. This will enable you to have one profile with all your matters listed and their progress on it.
This is how it will appear.
Click on the matter if you would like to see more detail. It will open a new page with a list of completed and outstanding items as well as the latest and previous comments.
Should you have multiple matters on Lexis Tracker, the convenient filters at the top will quickly help you find the matter you are looking for! You can also filter by attorney and can export this to excel.
Once done, click on “Logout”.
Follow the same procedure with the next login.
Should you have more than one property transaction, use the same password to create a list of all your properties to make access easier.
