The main objective of the MMTA is to help our students successfully complete the NQF Level 4 course and obtain their SoR’s.

We are pleased to provide a comprehensive overview of the options available under the new curriculum and different pathways that came into effect 1 October 2026.

Pathway 1:
The PPRA introduced the fast-track option:

Two different versions applicable:
1. Candidates must have a Matric Certificate or an equivalent qualification (Professional Competency)
2. Candidate must have a Matric Certificate or University Degree (Professional Competency with work experience)
Candidates will be expected to write the PPRA’s Closed book exam

MMTA can assist by offering:
1 or up to 5-days a month attendance at our academy
Intensive exam preparation on the 6 Core Practical Skills and Work Experience Modules
Zoom Preparation session for the PCC (closed book exam)

Following MMTA completion an additional 6 month’s period: all sales and leases must be reviewed and co-signed by a qualified Property Practitioner in accordance with the Regulation 33.3.1
Benefit: Rapid Market Entry
MMTA Fee: R 3450 (incl Vat)

Pathway 2:
Students who would qualify to apply for NQF4 exemption from the PPRA
As these students will still need to complete their Practical Work Experience

The MMTA can assist by offering:
One day a month attendance via the Zoom platform for 6 months
Administrative mentor templates and monthly Practical Work Experience audits
Zoom preparation session for PDE (Open book exam)

Once completed, the student to write the PDE 4
Benefit: the MMTA takes the burden of the Practical Work Experience (logbook) tracking away from the Principal and provide admin peace of mind.
MMTA fee: R 1500 (incl Vat)

Pathway 3:
Full QCTO NQF4 qualification
These students can further their careers to NQF 5 in the future.

Two different categories applicable:
1. AQPL Candidates with Matric/University Degree/Work Experience
One day per month attendance in person at the MMTA or via the Zoom platform
Duration: 6 months
Once the modules are completed, students receive their SoR’s (Statement of Results) from the MMTA
QCTO EISA closed book Exam to be written
Once successfully passed, PDE 4 to be written (open book)
Benefit: Full compliance & growth. Combining theoretical classroom insight with real world sales. Students will be able to further their careers to NQF5 should they wish to.
MMTA fee: R 5980 (incl Vat)

2. NQF Candidates without a matric certificate or without any experience
The MMTA will Recognise prior learning (RPL)
Five days a month attendance in person at the MMTA or via the Zoom platform
Duration: 12 to 24 months
Comprehensive 150 credit occupational curriculum consisting of 6 modules (Knowledge, Practical Skills and Workplace)
The MMTA issues a formal Joint Enrolment Pack for a PPRA FFC Extension
Once the modules are completed, students receive their SoR’s (Statement of Results) from the MMTA
QCTO EISA closed book Exam to be written
Once successfully passed, PDE 4 to be written (open book)
Benefit: Full compliance & growth. Students will be able to further their careers to NQF5 should they wish to.
MMTA fee: R 5980 (incl Vat)

PATHWAY 3: 

The qualification framework for pathway 3 consists of six comprehensive modules that integrate Knowledge, Practical Skills, and Work Experience. Each module is structured to ensure a thorough understanding of real estate principles, legal frameworks, and practical application in the field.

Our accredited facilitator leads the training initiatives at the MMTA, underpinned by a strong team of attorneys who address the legal intricacies inherent in the real estate landscape. This collaborative approach guarantees that learners receive a holistic and well-rounded educational experience.
A fundamental component of our curriculum is the Work Experience element, overseen by the academy.

Each student’s practical progress is assessed monthly by the Principal Property Practitioner, ensuring that they are meeting learning objectives and enhancing their practical skills. Students are required to complete and submit their work for each module prior to advancing, fostering a deep engagement with the material.

The MMTA remains committed to our students harnessing the potential of future Real Estate Leaders through comprehensive education, expert facilitation, and continual professional support. The main objective of the MMTA is to help our students successfully complete the NQF Level 4 course and obtain their SoR’s from the Miltons Matsemela Training Academy.

Course Duration and Attendance Requirements:
The MMTA’s program spans a duration of between six and twelve months depending on the specific course. Classes convening at our training facility located at 10 Oxford Street, Durbanville.

Due to logistics and by prior arrangement, we can offer class attendance via the Zoom platform.

Certification Pathway 3:
Upon successful completion of the NQF Level 4 course, students will receive a Summary of Results (SoR) from the MMTA.
The students must submit their SoR’s to the QCTO assessment quality centre, qualifying them to register and write the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA).

The MMTA is also registered as an assessment centre and students can register with us to write their EISA (closed book exam). Only after the successful outcome of the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) and the qualification awarded, candidates will be eligible to write the Professional Designated Examination (PDE 4). Upon passing the PDE 4 (open book exam), participants will attain their non-principal full status as Property Practitioners, greatly enhancing their career prospects within the real estate sector.

2. Proof of full course fee payment in the amount of R5980 (incl VAT)
3. Signed MMTA Refund Policy
4. Certified copy of ID – if ID card, copy of back and front
5. Copy of matric certificate clearly indicating the certificate number
6. Non-matriculants: the MMTA reserves the right to evaluate the applicant on their prior learning as per detailed CV.
